Getting in Tight Places

According to my observations (and what was told about me at this age) toddlers adopt hiding spots with the following attributes:

1. they are on their are their eye- and walking-level

2. they give them a vantage point of seeing or hearing things without being seen (or so they think!)

Toddler hiding places include closets, behind and under furniture, and shrubbery! Cabinets are also common. However, this is my first observation of a bookshelf being used!!
